2006 Super Air 210 or earlier??

Looking for a little advice on a boat that I am interested in. The buyer states it is a 2006 super air limited, however, after much research I am having trouble finding the similarities to most other 2006 210 models. The biggest thing that stands out is the tower, most other 2006 with the traditional hull for that span of years does not have the same tower as those photos included below. Also, the back compartments are opened electronically like my 2002 where most 2006s I've seen have the metal access points right on the sundeck.

Anyone with any information that may help clarify whether it is a 2006 or newer would help. The drive is a little too far to make this early in the game.

Yeah the tower isn't correct for 2006, the speakers are behind the upholstery instead of front mount, rear hatches look to use electronic latches, windshield frame and blower vent covers were not black in 2006 IIRC either, and that graphic isn't right for 2006 I don't think.

Most accurate way to tell is get them to take a pic of the hull ID number. If it ends with anything other than "06" than it's not a 2006 model.

That looks like it would be a 2003. Only 2002 and 2003 had electronic latches and 2002s had a different upholstery pattern.

Pretty much right on. The speakers vents and sundeck hatches are dead give aways. Towers are not always indicative of years. Especially on limiteds. I know more than a few people that ordered limiteds outfitted as close to SANTE's with options as possible but without towers. They then ordered the older tower because they liked the lines better and had the dealer install it. The 06 tower in my opinion was about the ugliest monstrosity to see on that body style of 210. It was like a mutation to one of the sexiest boats ever produced.

That is definitely not the case here and I can almost say w certainty it's not an 06. I can't believe someone would deliberately misrepresent a boat that far off. Maybe typo in the original header he couldn't correct. Most people misrepresenting years are on older boats.

I was able to speak with the seller today and they assured me that when it was sold to them it was a 2006. Clearly they do not know what year it is. The boat is located in Ontario, Canada, about 4 hrs from where I live so I plan on taking a look.

As per what core-rider said, and I agree with him fully, that the hull ID number will tell us, and apparently the owner the year of the boat.

Yep, '02 or '03. Certainly not an '06!

I vote 03 based on the above statements, and from what I can tell from the pic the interior indicates 03.

I firmly believe it is an 03 though the hull graphic looks like the 02.

I vote 03, the rear vent? or step pad at the locker pad/gunnel stands out. Having an 02 with blue on blue it looks like a match except that detail and the mid seat vinyl pattern. For what its worth.

So Gunz, what's the report? Did you hear back from the seller?

Yeah, it was an '03. Heard back late last night after they got back to their cottage. Basically they played dumb, saying they were shocked they had had the boat for so long. Edited the ad, lowered the price and asked if I was still interested. Thanks for all the help and input. I was certain it wasn't an '06!!!
