Not sure about the retrofit of the screens.

So that now I've had more time to review the pics from the reveal and look at the Nautique website I have formed a few opinions...
1. Why have a big reveal party for a boat and 3 days later still not have more info on your website? You can't even build a 2016 yet! All you get is 1 page of info that highlights the changes... That's what the reveal did!
2. Not a fan of the new graphics... Just a bunch of random geometric shapes? I prefer less graphics anyway, but at least last year's graphic was something you could look at and make sense of it.
3. The Pebble watch interface is nothing new since 2 other manufactures released similar designs first, but to me I don;t think it will be user-friendly. A remote to change sides with only 1 button makes sense, but a small watch with all the controls... not so much!
4. Driver's seat looks comfortable, but compared to the rest of the interior out of place. The web page make its sound as if the interior was redesigned, but really just the driver's seat was changed.
5. Stereo while a step in the right direction will probably still lack performance that some of us look for at that price point.
6. Touchscreen display... Joystick... I've never been a fan of the screens over gauges. At least there is the joystick for backup if the screen doesn't interact well with wet fingers or whatever conditions.
7. It is obvious that wakesurfing has eclipsed wakeboarding as the sport most wakeboat companies are catering too... This is more solidified by the fact they changed the G23/25 and no the G21. I don't think the G21 has ever been as sought after as the 23/25 for surfing. That is fine with me as I wake more than surf. Leave the G21 alone please!
8. Really the only positive thing to come next year will be the new engine line and the 2:1 v-drive offered with the 550 engine. Unfortunately this line might bring new issues that will need to be worked out over time, but a step in the right direction as well given the heavier boats and aftermarket ballast people drop into these boats.
My biggest gripe to Nautique (and it has been since the G21 came out) has been put the transom cooler in the G21!!! You lost the only real cooler in that boat because of length, and then remove the useful backup cooler to save cost!?! A $110K+ boat should not come with only a small soft-side cooler! /rant

Wondering the same thing. Why aren't the 2 videos they showed on the reveal available yet?

Core-rider....I believe just the opposite of your quote..."I don't think the G21 has ever been as sought after as the 23/25 for surfing" I think the G21 IS a top choice for surfers now because it's a smaller boat with the same internal ballast. Gives the wave a different shape then the bigger brothers that seems to work very well for the normal riders and even the pros. Both riders I talked to in Austin both ride the G21 for surfing....Drew and Megan. I do agree on the graphics...I like the simpler look to the Star on my 2015. The new ones arent "terrible"....but every so often, Nautique hits a home run with the graphics and sometimes they just get a base hit.....lol

You could be right. I unfortunately haven't been behind a G21 as of yet, but the difference between a G23 and G25 is noticeable! If the G21 is as much a difference in the opposite direction then I'm sure it will be better out of the 3. If money weren't a care I'd have a G21, but I'd DEMAND Nautique added the transom cooler and storage compartment on the dash!
YES!!! I keep reaching for the compartment that is not there....LOL. And the one down below the throttle is kind of behind you in the driver's seat. A little awkward to reach. Soft cooler had been OK...but mine ripped on the first time out. Dealer is getting me a new one. Wouldn't have ripped if I was grabbing my frosties from the G21 transom cooler. Have a good one Jason.
Nautique needs to fire there marketing department ASAP. That song made me want to vomit. Videos were good, but I don't really see a significant difference.
Yes, that song is terrible. They also should hire actors at these launches to do the PA talking and let the pros sit in the boats and talk to customers ad lib. Pro riders are not actors and not used to delivering rehearsed and memorized lines, and this has been painfully obvious both times. A little sound checking before the show would have been a good idea too. Part of me is really glad that Nautique focuses on designing and building boats and not marketing, but if you are going to go through the trouble of putting on events like this anyway, a little extra effort will make it a lot better. Preparation is the key to success.

Yes, and the first (and best) homerun was the 1999 retro Super Air Nautique graphics! Bring them back!

See some MSRP on the 2016 G23's at 180k. Anyone know what percent off MSRP should you expect?? 15-20%?? Feel free to give me a contact at a Dealer that gives good deals....

I would be surprised to see a $50K increase on MSRP as the base MSRP on the 2015 is $130. Not sure if your $180 MSRP is loaded or base. I am honestly surprised that they don't have the base price listed on the 2016 as they have with all the other boats.
