I think most of you put too much emphasis in the "game changer" advertising. I called it early on... Hull tweaks, interior changes, graphics, stereo options, engine options. Unfortunately I missed the live feed, but sounds like I didn't miss much because of quality. I would like to see more specs once they become available. What is the joystick for? It looks like a way to navigate the dash screen to me. The vent at the dash I assume is for windshield defrost? I could instantly tell of the change in the bow area, but couldn't see much else from the pictures. Did they put LEDs behind the NNS plates? Seems like an expensive, but overall useless option. The driver;s seat looks like it could be comfortable, but didn't notice much else changed about the interior.

On the positive side, hopefully it drives the resale value of the current G series down a bit so I can get one in a few years a wee bit cheaper.

Hopefully the price increase will help to offset some of our depreciation. The problem of selling these things is most people paying $100+k for a boat order exactly what they want. At that price point, why save a few thousand and settle for less than what you want.

This may have been hyped in the wrong way but there are some pretty cool changes to the G! Super excited to try out the new screen and dial control. Surf wave also looks much cleaner.


Is that a front guide pole to help with alignment when pulling onto the trailer? If so that is awesome.

New motors, new props (17 in), new transmission (2:1), new hull, new interior, new interface, remote control + pebble app, big upgrade in audio, tweaks to surf shape, twice as fast surf transition between sides, and a lot more I'm probably forgetting. I'm excited to surf on it in the morning, not sure what everyone was expecting, 10 foot waves?

I already have a 17 inch prop and a 2:1 transmission. I think the only interior change is the driver's seat and maybe some lettering on the seadek. I think most of the gearheads I listen to tell me that direct injection is not really going to provide all that much additional torque or efficiency, just an incremental increase at best.

The new screen, new hull and audio upgrade are huge changes for a boat manufacturer.
