    This blows

Just got NSS and saks added to my 2012 210 because my shoulder always took a beating wakeboaring. My annual 3 week trip to the lake set to go Jul 18 but while doing some overhead shoulder presses blew 2 discs on July 11 and ended up in surgery 4 days later; C5-7ACDF.

Im still going on the trip but just get to watch the family from the deck with binoculars.

    Big bummer

    That is a bummer.

Have a great time on the trip, but be cautious. Lake trips have a way of putting us out of our comfort zone and getting us in situations that might make you tempted to do more than your doctor says you should. You don't want to jeopardize next year too!

Just consider yourself as the Designated Driver and get better.
2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop
      2010 SANTE 230 343 (280hrs)

Try to look on the bright side, a few years ago that would have been a much more intensive surgery/recovery... I know friends that had similar accidents and were up walking without a neck brace the next day after surgery, and it was out patient! I'm out with a recent shoulder (multi tendon rotator) tear repair myself... :/

Wow, sorry to hear that. Glad you get to recover at the lake though. BTW, always appreciated the "pen sign" when studying for my OSCEs

The boat in the photo looks very similar to one in the "B" dock at the Hayden Lake Marina. If it is yours, glad to see somebody is out making good use of all your upgrades. Saw it come in with a group of 4 and all appeared to have smiles on their faces and dry. Hopefully you are recovering while on the water, just not in it.
