On my boat there is a master switch, I think called "Ignition", that kills all power to anything electrical...my question to those with elaborite stereo systems, does anyone have a problem with loosing the setting on your headunit (bass, filters, eq, etc) when the ignition switch is turned off? If so do you leave that switch on all the time?

RE: Ignition Switch on Dash
The settings in the Clarion head unit stay and do not get erased when you turn the power off using the switch, if that's what you're talking about.I Nautique, therefore I am.

RE: Ignition Switch on Dash
What Jeepn said. The head unit has 2 power wires. One constant power and one switch power (ignition button). Look at your head unit and trace the contstant power wire (mostly yellow) and connect it directly at the battery.230 with ZR6 running on propane
