MUST READ if you plan on changing prop on G23 with 1 1/4" drive shaft

    In addition to buying a new prop puller, I also bought a new "tightening screw" that instead of having a little cup to fit over the end of the shaft, just has the nipple. That's the cheapest way to convert you current puller assuming it fits around the 1 1/4 shaft, which mine did.

    I was as to jam my 17" spare into the kit bag, but it ain't pretty.

      I have the OJ puller, and it barely fits as far as the length down the shaft. It does not fit on the shaft and I think I am going to grind down the inside to make it fit. Yours was the Acme prop puller, right, Katy?

      I took a picture, you can see the width is enough, but I can't get it to slide over the shaft on the upstream side. Not the best picture, but you get the idea.

        KatyTX....where did you buy the "tightening screw" from??
