zero off for my 2008 SN 206 - best price?

I have a 2008 Ski Nautique 206 Limited Edition that came from the factory with Perfect Pass and am considering replacing it with zero off. From the reading I have done it appears to be a plug and play replacement to the Gateway mounted under the dash. Am guessing when I pull out the perfect pass my Faria speedo will run off the existing paddle wheel mounted to the hull but the Zero Off will run off the GPS.

Does this sound correct? Any advise on the install?

Lastly - I see that I can buy the kit directly from Zero Off for $1,590 - is there a promo code to use or can I purchase it elsewhere for less?

Thanks in advance for any advise / help with install and pricing!!

    Dave
    Thanks!

Zero off using the fly by wire feature. Well not work on boats that are operated with cable throttle control

His boat is DBW, as are all CC from 2006 on. Zero off should be a simple install for your application.

        Two thoughts:
        1. I would ask zero off if this one would work or what it would take to make it work. http://greatlakesskipper.com/masterc...rol-kit-509141
        2. When I was trying to get zerooff to give me a discount on the r2 harness upgrade they said they only discounted the full kits. So definitely based on that comment and above price would not pay the $1,590

P.S. You want to be sure you get the new r2 antenna (not the round one).

Yes - to be clear my boat is "drive by wire" and I assume it will be a plug and play installation into the gateway under the dash. I will call zero off today and see what kind of deal I can get on the kit and thanks for pointing out that I should request the new pucks vs. the old ones- not yet sure why that is important but if they are new am sure they were redesigned for a very good reason!!!
          Thanks!

Good luck! I hope they give you a deal. The only deal I've heard is they did a group buy for some ballers a while back. I popped ZO in my '08 and it took 1/2 hour...plug and play.

Did you need the extra canbus extension and power extension or was your gateway under the dash - am learning that if the gateway is under the dash than all I need is the kit - no extra cords.
              Thanks!

Gateway right under the dash behind the footrest / speaker bulkhead. No need for the extension (196). I've heard that the 206 gateway is mounted near or in the trunk though? I'm not familiar enough with the 206.

I was told specifically by zero when I wanted the discount on the $450 antenna upgrade, that they only discount the "whole systems". So don't pay the $1,590.

I have spoken with their tech support and I do not need the extension cables as my gateway is in fact under the dash. I also called PCM to confirm from the serial number on my engine that my ECU does not need to flashed so my install will be plug and play - am waiting on a call back from Zero Off sales to get final pricing so I can order and hopefully expedite delivery! Can't wait ...
                    Thanks!
