On trailer weight of a 2015 SAN 230

    Hi,

I've got on order a 2016 230 but been looking to see if anybody out there has properly weighed there 230's? While its difficult I know to get the proper weight without taking the individual boat to a weighbridge, i'm hoping somebody has some real world figures to based some educated guessing off.

Boats going to sit on a tandem axle boat mate trailer. Boats got a fair chunk of factory options etc and of coarse full of fuel. I'm thinking a good estimates around the 6400 pound mark or (2900 kgs)

Anybody who could chime in with real world numbers would be great.

    Thanks

Hi and congrats on the new boat! My '08 230 ZR6 on a Boat Mate tandem with "custom" (as supplied by B/M) 18" wheels was 6200# with approx 20 Gals of fuel on board, including a bimini/boot and a few items on board.
My boat has the standard 4 pt. aluminum tower and removable bench seat for the cockpit, two removable seat backs, the table option, and the trash can door. It does not have the windblock for the front, nor the bow filler cushion.

Hope that helps and post up your "build it version!"

      Thanks for that!

Awesome boat, thanks for adding in the options you've got in there too gives a good idea of the boat. Just trying to get a reasonable idea of what to expect of the new boat, as I am trying to arrange a new car to align with the boat, but looks like I might be a few weeks off and looks like i'll be pushing my current car (Jeep SRT) to the limits of its capacity.

I shall do! The build spot is at the end of the month, so still about 10 weeks away (shipping down under takes about a month)!
