    Wakemakers Piggyback Install Questions

I am in the process of installing the Wakemakers Piggyback rear locker (800#) and integrated bow ballest (650#) into my 2008 SANTE 220. I have a couple of questions for those who have used their system.
    1. In the rear lockers I have attached the inflow to the bottom aft attachment of the bag, which attachment did you attached the overflow tube to, the upper forward or upper aft?
    2. There seems to be more hose than is needed, did you leave the hose as designed by Wakemakers or did you cut it to fit?

    Thanks

I attached to the upper aft. Did you get the kit that has the by-pass system with the one-way valves?

I left the hose completely in-tact.

      Thanks

      Any vacuum problems when draining?

Yes, the system has two one-way valves.

As I understand it both hoses have to be on the same side of the bag or you may have issues with your hard tanks collapsing. There was a post somewhere about it. Not sure if it was on this forum or WW.

If you have the one way valves, then you shouldn't have an issue with the vacuum issue. It also makes it not matter which of the top vents is used.

What one way valves did you use and where inline did you connect them.
              Thanks.

They come from wakemakers and they should T off from the bottom of the bag and then back up to the top as a vent just in case the bag collapses. Wakemakers ships two, but I find one is enough

I attached my vent hose to the upper forward fitting and yes the hoses are much longer than they need to be, but I didn't cut them. Just left them as they are.

I have attached the diagrams that WakeMakers sent me regarding the makeup of the kit.

Here is a pic that I got from Wakemakers with the fittings labeled.
