I have the piggyback in the bow. Works great. They ran it off the vent line for the belly tank. Just fill it through the ballast screen so the pumps run longer. Adds 500-600 pounds. If I get a chance tomorrow, I will take some pictures and post them.

Only concern w 1100s is bending the engine dividers. I did 1100s in my 220 and it bent them. I took some measurements today up to our dealer and they are going to check price on making custom bags for the 230 with trays removed that will not damage the engine dividers. I can't figure out why CC won't build those things strong enough so I can put enough water in my boat to sink it😃!!

As far as bow I think it's the 711 bag and you pump in from the hard tank vent. Not certain yet but looking into it.

I have 2014 230 with the bow piggy back off the belly. The linc does not show the bow only the belly. Also when doing the rears the linc only does actual weight up to the pro ballast which is the 450s. I had the 450s but just put in the 750s. I can understand why people would remove tanks in 2013 and older but with the 2014 it does not make as much since as the hard tank new shape allow you to add up to the 750s and keep the storage trays. Some might tell you you can't have the storage trays with 750s but they are wrong.

Great info and thank you all. We are hoping to get out on Thursday for a demo. Also waiting on the dealer to work some numbers. If we can make the price work then this girl will probably be one heck of an early Xmas present.

Cool, that's good to know on the front bag. I think I will replace some of my lead with that. Pictures would be appreciated if you find time. Btw I also have 750lib bags without removing the trays. I removed them at first based on feedback that they wouldn't fit and then added them back once I realized they do fit. On the dividers, wake makers sells a reinforce kit that is easy to install on the panels. I did that and now no issues with the panels bulging out.

I am running the arrow shaped bow sac under the front seats along with the hard tanks and 750 sacs on each side in the rear. Between the hard tanks and sacs in the rear, I have 300lbs of lead on each side as well as 150lbs of lead on each side under the "removable seat backs." We usually have 1 adult and 3 small children in the boat. This video is from Sunday night, 3 adults in the boat at 10.5mph NSS 3, Hydro 2. I am 6'1, 210lbs for reference. https://vimeo.com/136631381

Still shifting weight around and tuning things. I appreciate everyone sharing and thanks for the info on the reinforcement kits Joe.

So a stock 2014-2015 230 isn't producing a good surf wake?? I was under the impression with the improvements to the hull for the NSS system made it one of the better surfing boats?

So is this video test is false? https://youtu.be/lnknm4HhMTU

Noahsark, stock wake is good but that doesn't mean you can't make it better. I personality tend to run with a small crew (often just the driver in the boat) so that's also a factor. But, I've always added extra ballast in my boats. If I had a G boat I'm pretty sure I'd have extra ballast in that as well. From your earlier posts for how you plan to use the boat, there's a good chance that you won't feel the urge to add any more weight.

Davew0815, thanks. Yes we will be novices at Surfing so as long as it looks like that video we should be fine!

Noahsark, I agree with Dave. The stock wave is good and our crew is very small, in terms of weight. I was behind a stock G on Saturday, could I ride the wave, yes. Could I ride it in the same manner I ride behind my boat, not even close

Noahsark, I am the same as others. 90% of the time it is me and one other rider or wife and 2 kids. In the video they have 6 people in the boat. That is 5 more at roughly 750-1000 more pounds. With that crew and full tank of gas I probably wouldn't even take the time to fill up anything but factory. I often surf just the factory when I have a full tank of gas and just the wife driving but when the gas gets low it does suffer.

This turned into a great thread. I took a buddy of mine tonight surfing and he said that my weighted 230 was better than another friend of ours G. Joe/ Sevet thanks for the info. Idaho good luck on your purchase!

This thread has been a lot of fun. As a lot of people have been participating, I am still wondering if anybody has added Enzo sacs as they look like they would fit based on the measurements. Also has anyone added additional pumps to speed up the fill and drain process? I included a few more videos (wife and kids have been gone so I've had time to play). First one is with the IBS full, second one is without, last one is just a different angle no IBS. For reference the rope is 28 ft vs the typical 20. I am 6'1".
