Also has anyone added additional pumps to speed up the fill and drain process? I included a few more videos (wife and kids have been gone so I've had time to play). First one is with the IBS full, second one is without, last one is just a different angle no IBS. For reference the rope is 28 ft vs the typical 20. I am 6'1".

Do you recall what setting you had NSS at in the first video? Wondering if you could form more of a lip?

Thank you all for the responses and pics/vids. Big thank you to seveet!!! I appreciate the conversation and videos you sent. I am taking the wife (CEO) out to look at the boat this evening and hopefully set up a demo for tomorrow night or this weekend. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Thanks seveet for the IBS pics. I've ordered my kit from wake makers.

Great thread everyone!! I have a 2015 SAN 210 and was looking at replacing the pro ballast (260s) with 400's. Should I go bigger, and if so does anyone know what size will fit in the SAN 210?

What brand of sacs do you have, locker trays still fit?

NSS was at 2 in all of the videos. This surprised me the other night as I had previously been running it a 4 when the IBS was full. It probably helped that there was 500 pounds of human ballast on the surf side. Although the crew size was similar in all the videos. The great thing about NNS is that you can tweak it in order to shape the wake. The biggest difference I notice the other night with the IBS full was that the top of the wake seemed to be firmer. The other thing I have noticed about the NNS wake is that you need to ride a little lower on the face. It is hard to describe, but it feels like there is a little shelf you can drop off and suddenly it becomes very easy to generate forward momentum. Play with the bow weight and the NNS setting while you are out as everyone likes a little different feel.

Seveet, what speed are you running in those videos? I think you mentioned 10 something before? Have you tried bumping up to 11 or 11.2? I don't know how it affects the nautiques but we find that the wave really starts to lengthen and firm up at 10.8 plus. Also, is that a soulcraft Da Honu you are riding? If so I know that board loves some speed.

Speed is 10.6 mph. This range has always worked well for me, but as others have stated they run in the 11 to 11.2 range. I think this comes down to personal preference. Play around with it and see what you think. Board is a Doomswell Neo with black stick fins. Absolutely love it.

Hi There - are you able to run your 750 bags and keep the little trays in? which bags are you running specifically please?
                          Thanks

Do you have any weight in the bow? If not no worries you will have a great weekend. Easiest thing you can do is fill the gas tank to full. Also leave the hydrogate in the back position I think this is 1. I have found no reason or heard of a reason to move it forward. Follow these basic guidelines. The slower you go and the more weight in the back the bigger the wave. Whatever you do to make the wave bigger will usually make it shorter. You can lengthen the wave by putting weight in the bow or increasing the speed. Based upon your set up and your abilities and style will determine where you should put NSS. Some like 3 others 4 and others 5. Play around with that part and enjoy. Without knowing your exact set up and crew and surf vs. skim and ability levels no one can give you the best. Id recommend full tank of gas full factory and pro ballast. Work with speeds between 10.6 and 11.2. Try NSS 3-5. I have found when I have bow weight I prefer 5 without it I prefer 3.

I'm running the Fly Highs 750 lb bags. They fit the lockers just fine, however the trays will not fit; they would break if you tried to fill the bags 100%. I just keep soft stuff like ropes and life jackets in the locker and it's fine. I'm thinking about rigging some sort of cargo net to hold the stuff above the sack in lieu of the trays.

Since this kind of turned into the 230 surf setup thread, I will add this here. Went out tonight with just 2 people in the boat, so I thought I would add some extra weight. Put a 400 pound bag on the surf side floor. Much better than adding bow weight. Push was insane, lip was great. Overall tons of fun.
