      Water depth should be ok if you are around 20ft. My only suggestion if you want to surf it stock is to run full rear ballast, full fuel tank and maybe only 1/3 belly ballast. NSS at 0-2 and NCRS 3-5. It may sound crazy to run less weight but by doing this, you may come close to the weight distribution of when you have the extra ballast. The wave will be smaller and shorter than having extra weight, but might be a similar shape. The picture of the wave you posted leaves me to believe the back of the boat needs more weight (or offload the front ballast). Good luck!

        Have a 2013 G25 and it kicks up real pretty surf wave with nice little lip curl on top with just stock ballast in it. Seems like there must be something wrong somewhere. Have you confirmed NSS is actually deploying as intended?
