    2001 "Air" Nautique 196

    Hi,

I have been in search of a TSC 1 SN since I only ski the course. A SNOB would be ideal since we have a toddler and I get the benefit of the bow with the hardcore slalom wake I want. I saw a air 196 on Craigslist and noticed it had the bubble back. Is this basically a TSC 1 SNOB with a factory tower and graphics? Does it come with built in ballast? Could it be removed to lighten it back to basically a ski nautique?

There is the brochure for 2001. I don't think they are labeling the boat correctly as there was a SN, SNOB and a super sport that year. If if is the SN OB version, it would be a SNOB with a tower on it, there would be no other hull for it. The ballast could be left empty, i doubt that the empty tank, pumps and hoses weigh that much, but i am sure you would be able to remove them.

    hope this helps,

    Tim
