Just a suggestion.. Nealcg8 But why not try and build a test run edition? Just make one out of wood or starboard and clamp it to the platform. Once you figure it works or not, then you can make the real deal. Many ideas floating around.on building a (ghetto) version first. Figure out all your sizes, make a couple different plates to try out.
