    Getting way too excited!

Man! I just got that tower put on, a wakeboarding magazine in the mail, a few days of warm weather, and now I'm way too getty!

One of the bolts on my impeller housing was stripped, and was leaking pretty bad. So Saturday I drilled out the remains of the threads, then re-tapped the hole. Now I just need to stick the impeller on. The problem is finding time.

Finding time and getting the boat out of the shed that is in a friend's backyard that is swamped because of the 7 inches of rain we got in the last 3 days. But I'm not gripeing about the rain, we need it to fill the lakes up.

I think there are some vacuum issues that I'm going to need to sort out in the near future, but man, I'm ready to go!!!!

All us east Texas guys (or anyone else who wants too) need to get together in the next few weeks!

The lack of rain is pretty bad here in OK also...my lake is down 8 feet...hopefully the 2 inches of rain we got will help.

Hey...if you Texas guys don't mind...I'd be up for a TX/OK get together...maybe some like between here and there...Texhoma...or even further south somewhere in TX if you guys know of some good place. Gonna have to wait until after April 15th though...my lake season can't start until after the tax deadline. That's probably why I can't move further south. If the water temp were warm enough to get in before April 15th, I'd have a hard time staying at work.

By the way...mfloski...that's a gorgeous boat. I really like the color and the lines on those Sport Nautiques from that year.

Thanks OKW, it's a work in progress! One thing about this hobby that I have come to learn over the past two years is, no matter how new or old the boat, or how "pimped" out it is, THERES ALWAYS MORE TO DO!

We got out the second weekend in March. The lake was at about mid-summer levels (this is prior to the bulk of rain we just got). I'm optimistic that the levels on that lake will continue to improve until summer gets into full swing.

Southern Wisconsin lakes are 100% thawed, 2 weeks and we'll be ready to go.
                        I don\'t care.

There is a chance my family might go up to Texhoma sometime during the 1st 10 days of May. My uncle and his family bring their 96 SN up there and we camp there for a few days.
I'll let y'all know if we do decide to go!

Caddo. Apart from all the water hycinth (sp) around Johnson's Ranch, levels were quite good. Air water that weekend was about 82/65. Didn't even bother with a wetsuit.

Ran the boat from the big lake all the way to the water intake well past the Hwy 43 bridge.

It was windy on the big lake, but very nice on the river.
