looking at 2000 nautique 196 - question

Ok looking at a 2000 nautique 196. Has 75th anniversary sticker on it. But has graphics or side of boat looks like a 1999. Haven't seen in person yet to check hull. It doesn't have the big N graphics like all other 2000's have that I've seen. It has the Ski Nautique on the sides of boat. Does anyone know if they had two different graphics or whatever sides layouts. Thanks guys.

I have seen a 2000 Sport Nautique with the gel stripe you're talking about (non-N), so I would guess that a Ski Nautique or two may be out there too like that.

Get the HIN. That will tell the story.

There some 2000's out there with '99 graphics. One recently sold in Minneapolis. Nothing fishy about it.

The "N" graphic was a huge marketing mistake, N on one side and a squiggle on the other. Lots of people with that boat went to great lengths to camouflage and it was probably possible to order a 2000 with the 99 graphics. Hull ID will tell the tale.

You could order either Graphic in 2000, the 99' or the New "N" graphic that was introduced that year.
