        RE: Unique Trailers

I saw a bunch of pictures from one of the NOA/CC reunions a couple years back and say numerous trailers like that. And yes, PWCs go on top. some wacky stuff. either have too much money or travel a looooooong way.
        I don\'t care.

Once the boat is launched what do they do, keep on backing until they can launch the PWCs? hehe.

It looks like there is a winch system to lower the top deck down. Otherwise you would launch your tow vehicle before you launched what was on the top deck.

I can't say I'm a master at the ramp but I'd hate to get behind one of those trailers....coming or going.

Man that Shadow trailer is one LOOOONNNNG trailer. Try to find a place to store that thing. What would be really innovative is if you could detach the front section and only trailer the boat or the jet skis and then when you needed to the do the long haul with both you attached it back and you were at full capacity. Then also, you might stand a chance of storing that thing some place.

Looks like the steps go up to a narrow 'cat walk' that extends to the boat.

Neat idea... Just don't slip off!

I have mulled over the idae of a trailer like the first one to haul a car so I can have a motorcoach, boat and dingy vehicle. That would prevent me from having to have a truck, 5th wheel camper and boat behind the 5th wheel camper.

I still might do it one day.

wow. I don't care how many axles it's got, they all seem to be too far back. Can't imagine what the tongue weight must be!

Looks to me like the purple trialer with the steps is a modified trailer for an offshore boat - probably a 40 ft catamarran hull. The steps are in fact steps used to get up into these big offshores. If that is the case, and I'm pretty sure it is, that is why the wheels are so far back. Most of those big offshores have twin big blocks, plus the outdrives, not to mention 200 or more gallons of gas usually set mid to aft.
The cuddys on the catamarrans are usually sparse, so really not much weight at the front of the boat.l BKH

I saw this driving to Biloxi. It's not an insane trailer but definately an insane setup.
