2013 G23 with ZR450 and 400 hours "NEED HELP!" Boat goes into guardian mode with EMWT 1415 warning under LOAD! Here is what has been done so far: 1. Inspected water intake under boat- NO obstructions, 2. Inspected cartridge screen filter- NO obstructions, 3. Removed and inspected impeller- NO damage good condition, replaced with new impeller, 4. Inspected Exhaust Manifold Thermostat- No Damage, recently replaced less than 50 hours on new thermostat. 5. Used temperature gun to determine temperature of exhaust manifold when boat goes into guardian mode- 152 degrees F both manifolds. 6. Heat exchanger inspected- NO obstructions. 7. Coolant filled to specified level.

There are 3 stages of EMWT warnings. Which one was it at? Stage 2 or 3 (severe overheat resulting in limp mode) will probably require a dealer to take a look at it as you have covered the intake, strainer, and impeller. Is it happening consistently and what are you doing when it happens?
Only 2 things i can think of off the top of my head is make sure the water strainer has the rubber o-ring, could be leaking air in, or a faulty thermostat.2012 SANTE 230

Ok I had the same thing. I was on the phone with the dealer for 2 days and I replaced sensors I finally pulled 1 of the manifolds off and saw it was full of scale. So take a 1/2 ratchet and take the plugs out the front and the back of the manifold. There is no need to remove them. After the plugs are out start it for a second and it will shoot that crap out then put a hose in each side of the manifold and you can also remove the hoses off the top and run water from the top this works and it is your problem. You can alternate front plug and back plug and start a few times along with flushing with the garden hose. I have had to do this twice if you have questions call me 504-782-7203Last edited by chrisschweda; 09-22-2015, 12:25 PM.

If you've ever had an impeller break apart then check the transmission oil cooler. If you follow the outline line from the impeller it'll before the transmission. Check the inlet of the cooler and see if you have a blockage there, if you do then do a reverse flush and clean out the inlet.
