I have just purchased a new to me G23.Coming off a 2010 san230.When driving the G with just 2 people in the boat it tilts or lists to the left quite a bit.Dealer says it's normal to do this and to add ballast till it evens out. This happens when driving all the time with no ballast.Dosen't seem to do it when boat ballast is loaded.Has anyone experienced this. Thanks in advance.Have been on this forum for years but my first post.

Be aware that prior to mid-year 2015, the ballast system did not have power-actuated valves on the intakes. Before this time, they relied on the impellers in the ballast pumps to keep water out when the pumps were not running. This was not a very good idea, and many of us had water intrusion issues with the ballast system on these boats. Also, due to the way the LINC system reads ballast levels, the gauge may not be accurate if this intrusion has occurred.
I sometimes found that one side or the other had filled significantly overnight, causing the boat to list to one side when driven. I started closing the petcocks when leaving the boat in the water overnight, and that resolved the issue.

Ensure all three tanks are empty. You can tell by the sound of the pumps. Sounds like a 50cc dirt bike when they run empty. You can't see the bags, they are sub floor.
Add 1/8 to 1/4 water fill to your port ballast till it levels out.

2ski...from your first post you said the boat was leaning left?? NYRyan....aren't all the G's listing right...meaning starboard/drivers side? You told him to add port ballast....which is correct on an empty G. What if 2ski's....is leaning right like he stated. Wouldn't that kind of go against the grain of all the previous leaning posts.....no pun intended....lol
