G21: What is the speed limit to fill and empty the factory ballast?

I have a couple questions. Whit my 220, the boat was always stopped because I had to throw the hose over and fill the fat sacs. While I was doing that, we'd fill the ballast tanks. Same scenario for emptying Now that I don't have to do that with the new boat (G21), can the boat be moving while filling and emptying the ballast tanks?

Also, is there a speed limit to driving the boat with the factory tanks full? Wouldn't it be likely to damage the ballast tanks if you are traveling fast and hitting waves while they are full with the weight of the water?

I cruise at 23mph to and from my spot while I fill and drain.... not an issue.

Filling is a bit slower if you are at 23mph speeds though vs standing still... and conversely.... draining goes much faster due to the Bernoulli Effect.

Agree. SLight forward motion seems to encourage filling but once above about 15mph the pumps struggle to pump in the water. Too bad they can not add a slight down scoop that is extended only above certain speeds while the pump is set to fill.

How often do you all change the impellers? Anyone use the "high flow" aftermarkets?
