    2014 vs. 2015 G23

From what I hear there isn't much difference in the two year models. Was there any kind of hull change or anything significant I should be aware of? Thanks

The only significant difference between the two, is drive by wire in the 2015.

Electronic throttle rather than a cable.

They also started in january of 2015 putting automatic shut off valves on the ballast pumps.

IIRC, the windshield and board racks got the anthracite coating in 2015.

The shattered diamond graphic was available only in 2015.

So nothing major, although when I drove the 14, the throttle was extremely sensitive. I am sure I would have gotten used to it, but the 15 drives like most other boats I have owned.

The 15's also had the option of the dash speakers,

IMHO i'd go a 15 over a 14 just for the drive by wire, its a big improvement (owned by 14 & 15 models)

So will a stock stereo package come with the dash speakers in 2016? Or is that only part of the Elite package?

I understand that the Wavefront in-dash speakers are part of the overpriced Elite stereo speaker upgrade. My dealer and I are going to piece together another kick-*** option for half the price. I thought about asking if he can order just the speakers and have them cut in, but leave the amps out. I'll keep you posted.
