210 vs g23 feedback helpful!

As winter deals come up I need to not waste dealers times so it would be great if I can get some real world feedback on a couple items:

1. End of lake I am on is quite narrow and my 2008 210 has very good turning radius...How will g23 compare??....Like same, twice as big radius needed? g21 any better?

2. My friends 230 is super finicky wake and you do have to weight it like crazy to clean up. My 210 is pretty normal. Is g23 finicky like the 230 or pretty clean with 0 ballast? Or do you have to weight it to clean it up? We would NOT want to weight it every time we use it. For drill runs we would not want to weight it, and it would suck if the wake wasn't clean?

Not trying to be difficult, but those are very very specific preference questions.

If I am considering buying a boat, I'm not wasting a dealer's time ensuring it meets my needs. They don't have to send out the lead salesman, they could send out the young 20s pro kid that runs the pro shop.

Tell the dealer you want to demo the G23 in that exact location and body of water for those reasons you listed. You want a 90min demo.

That's the only way to answer your questions properly.... Not listening to guys online who may see things differently than you.

I maneuver my G23 in some pretty tight areas, but the 210 being two feet shorter will obviously be better in small areas.

The G23 is very clean with no ballast, and is not as side-to-side picky as the 230. With no ballast, you can get a clean wake out of a G23 at about 16 MPH.

you are right...the dealer for this particular boat is in canada...i could and probably should go locally and demo these (g21 and g23) boats...but the problem is that i am unwilling to buy at prices dealers want locally. so i just don't want to waste local dealers time...next time they have local demo days or something i should go...that won't bug them too much. probably better then sitting on my lazy butt...they are just over an hour away each way....so i am lazy...sorry...

at either end of my small lake we are able to throw double ups...i am concerned that we won't be able to do that with g23...let alone turn around relatively quickly in tight area.

I've demoed a g23 and thought it turned plenty tight with the 550. Not sure with the other motors. I've heard that first year the g23 was out that Shaun Murray couldn't use it down at the boarding school because it couldn't make the turn around it needed so he had to keep a 230 there instead. He left the boarding school the following year....
