Software update on 2014 G23 Linc

So I'm about to buy a 2014 G23. I've seen a few posts about having the software updates on boats that are a few years old

How do I make sure or verify that the dealer I'm getting the boat from has done this

Is the Linc update downloadable from CC or only installable via a dealer?

They can only be updated through a dealer.

Are dealers making you bring the boat in? I'd like to avoid pulling my boat 2 hours round trip just to plug a flash drive in. I'm going to call them soon, but just curious what dealers are doing out there.

They normally just email you the file put it on a usb drive and update it. Takes all of 5 min to do.
