skiinxs How do you like the Touchless Cover? I love the concept of those, but would like to hear your thoughts on how well they work in the real world.
I have one as well. It just completed it's 7th year. No real issues other than high winds will push it up and over a little and I had a little rubbing on the tower from the cables. Service after the sale though hasn't been all that great. First few years were OK, but I spent a lot of time talking to and waiting for the original installer to quote me a price to alter the top to create a dome for the tower to fit in. It was built for a different boat and I didn't plan on needing it to be taller. I finally gave up when he quit returning calls. They have done several of these mods on our lake so I know what I want is possible. The main issue is with the installer, not the company. If I call them, which I did when the first attempts to contact the installer were never returned, he will call me immediately, but even this never resulted in getting the repairs done. We finally came up with a block of wood covered in carpet that allows me to only drop the tower partially and leave the bimini attached, so I gave up and do this instead. Would I buy another one ? Yea, probably so. They really are handy, not to mention keeping the boat in better condition with no sun beating on one side and no water from rains.
