    • Current 2005 SV 211, due for upgrade! GS22 or GS24 perhaps? Previous

    #31
Just a word of caution... I see a post recommending a SV-211. My 211 is a great all around boat but they are quite difficult to keep in the slalom course. I took a pretty big hit at 5 ball 34/28off and pulled the back of the boat right over the boat guide bouy. They are great for most things but I would say it would be next to impossible to keep a 211 within a 6" tolerance pulling a strong skier into deep shortline. That said if the club is using the boat for wakeboarding 95% of the time then it's a natural fit. If you are getting two boats I would try to get one 216 and one 211. The 216 is a better ski boat at slower/longer skiing, the 211 is better for boarding, the 211 is also good for surfing. If there are any footers they will most likely prefer the 216.
