2005 Air Nautique Best Mirror Option

Just bought this and it didn't have a mirror. What's my best option?

I like the Monster Tower Universal mount and mirror. Very simple and adjustable and reasonably priced.

I prefer a windshield mount to the tower mount. Just the way I have been driving for years. Kinda depends on what kind of budget you want to spend on your mirror. The PTM Edge is great, but it costs $$$$. Second best IMO is the CIPA vision 180

        Factory mount not too unreasonable.

yes the CIPA 180 is a great mirror especially if you can pick it up without a mount for $60 at Walmart. It's not quite as good as the PTM Edge but it's comparable and much cheaper. It blows the doors off all other mirrors I have used. I had a traditional bar mount tower arm so I had to get the ball and socket converter from Monster for $40 so that it would work with my DIYwake.com mirror arm.

I'd like to change the mirror situation on my 08 and would like to try one of the wider angle mirrors. Problem is I'm old and lazy, and got a little spoiled with the nice low windshield mount I had on my 01. The bottom of its mirror actually was a little below the top of the windshield, so I didn't have to move my head and only had to barely shift my eyes to view it. It looks to me like all the current mounts position the mirror well above the windshield.

I'm probably in the vast minority, but thought I'd check if anyone else has figured out how to mount one of the newer mirrors at a lower point?
