I have a new to me 2006 SAN 210 that I picked up this last season. I am wondering if anyone else with this tower is having issue with tower movement and the large nuts under the gunwale come loose after a few hours of running.
To me it looks like the aluminum plates acting like washers under the gunwale do not fit tight against the boat. they only contact on the edges and bend in the middle when tightening. I'm wondering if anyone has swapped the aluminum plates out with some steel plates that fit better if the bolts would stay tight. Just a thought.
