    Bug Droppings - Staining Finish???

I'm in florida with a covered boat lift. I'm noticing these drippings that appear to be from a bug.

They hit the boat, leave a little black dot.

The dot comes off easily with just a wet rag, but when I remove the dot, they often leave a brown stain.

See the pics. Any ideas on how to make it easier to clean and how to try and keep the critters away?

Spider poop. Constant battle here in Texas. No magic cure except to cover it.

Bifen will get rid of the spiders and lasts for a year. Be very careful when applying.

What do you do, just spray it around the dock?

I spay the ceilings, corners and posts. No spiders for a year after one application. This stuff is very potent so read the directions carefully. The first week after applying you'll see plenty of dead spiders and other bugs on the floor. I tried natural stuff and other insecticides and have stopped looking. Bifen is the answer.

                It's spider poo

Acetone, goo gone, or citrus base cleaner should do the trick. Followed by soap n water to rinse
