Nautique's Air Stickers - Do they come off over time?

I saw several posts about people opting to remove their Air Graphics stickers - that's a personal choice I guess.

For those of us who like how it came - have you had issues with the stickers coming off either (a) over time OR (b) when pressure washing your boat?

I'd just like to better understand your experiences and know if there are some things I should or should not be doing to avoid that experience.

Why would you be pressure washing a boat?

No problems on mine. I could see pressure washing the hull for algae build up but never the graphics.

I think there's one wrinkle in our graphics, but I have no clue how it got there and I have bigger things to worry about on the boat. Every couple weeks we use a high pressure hose to wash it down, but we use the nossle which is most wide and least "direct" and "narrow" spray. All you have to do is just know what you're doing with the pressue hose, as in don't stand within 2 feet of the boat while spraying, and really you should have no problems with the decal. If you do I'd think it be warantee anyway...

My AIR sticker looked like it was tied up to one to many times so I opted to change it and the color of it to match everything else. Now the outline of the sticker and the accent stripe match.

I have had no problems with the air sticker, but the buble letters are a different story. I had HWC replace the two air stickers due to dock rash last year, and also the buble or drip molded stickr becasue it was discolored from fuel and some drip molded parts had fallen off. I think the quality of those are really poor, but they look great.

I don't have any problems with the AIR logo on the boat... I have had more problems with the bubble letters coming off of my boat. It has gotten so bad, that I actually replaced it with an older style sticker (I actually like it better than the 2003).

Just make sure that gas is never spilled on it. A small amount of gas came through my vent and damaged the graphic. No big deal and mostly common sense but just clean gas immediatly with water. I just wiped off and went on my way...

i don't consider dock rash a problem with stickers----that is driver error

Yes dock rash is driver error, but when the bubble letters fall of, and there is no dock rash on them, then no, so my statement is corretc.

The air stickers were replaced due to dock rash, and the rear stickers due to crappy design.
