Pics of light blue metal flake.

I am ordering my new G23.
I really think the light blue metal flake is gorgeous. But I have not seen any pictures in real life. I think the boat builder does not do it justice.

The best pics I can find on the internet are of other manufacturers...Anyone got a pic of a Nautique with light blue metal flake main panels?

It's honestly not even really a lighter blue. The Nautique design builder makes it look lighter than it is. I wish it were closer to the colors of the other manufacturers you posted pics of. But in reality, it is closer to a royal blue metal flake, maybe a touch lighter. I took the pics below off Google, the last one is their indigo blue metal flake for comparison. I do feel that the selection of the other colors of the boat exterior will either lighen or darken the effect of the blue metal flake.

Thanks for posting those. The Nautique boat builder works painfully slow on my work computers, or I would show what I am thinking of. But I think all but the ski boat above are indigo blue instead of the light blue. I thought I saw a light blue before and it was more similar to the color on the other brand boats above. I am not sure how it shows up on different monitors, but I think you can appreciate the ski boat (with no tower) is significantly lighter than the others. I have seen the indigo blue in person and it is gorgeous, but is a deeper shade of blue. I will have to see if my dealer has some of those color plates, I think that may answer my question.

The 200 looks lighter because the color around it is white. All of those look like blue metal flake to me, except the last one, which I believe is indigo metal flake.

Tall....all of those above are the lighter blue except the last....like stated above. I disagree with Beg4wake....it is a lot lighter than the Indigo Blue when you see both colors...especially in the sun. I went with the lighter on mine. Here's a shot of mine. Can't go wrong with either.

If you wanna go with a bright color.... Offset it and tone it down with black, gray or some other neutral tone.

Bright colors and white are harsh on my eyes.

The dealership where that MasterCraft picture was taken is a couple of miles from my house. Weird to jump on here and see something local. That is a good-looking color though.

I am generally not a fan of blue on boats (it just isn't my favorite), but I do like the metal flake blue.

I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

Thanks for the pics. In pictures, I can see where the difference is not so stark, but the 200 in Beg4wake's pics looks so much lighter because I think it also has a greater amount of sun exposure along the side of it.

I've go something else up my sleeve that is actually the frontrunner, but am looking to see how other combinations are looking in real life.

All white would even look very clean to me, bright colors do not bother me much, in fact I consider it a good thing to be mostly light colored in the intense desert sun we have around here. That is why my current boat is mostly white with a splash of red.

Nyryan....I know what you mean about the bright colors and white...but this lighter metallic blue is just blue enough to not "hurt"...lol. I thought about offsetting it, but then it complicates the boat too much for me. I don't like the idea of "black and blue" because it reminds me a bad black eye on someone....thought about Grey as the offset and have see some good looking Blue/Grey G's out there. I will say, the best thing about the metallic on the Nautiques is that it gives you so many shades of color depending on the light or lack of. My blue just kicks azz when you see it on the water with the sun on it. So does the Gunmetal and the lighter Silver Metallic.

A local dealer here had some in the blue metal flake last year and that's why I say it doesn't seem as light as what you may want, but again, it all depends on the lighting and the accent colors. The all white with the blue metal flake would definitely make it look lighter! ESPECIALLY on water where you have sun hitting it from all angles due to reflection! That's the case for all metal flakes to me. They all change tint when they really get in the sun! I didn't care too much for metal flake until I saw the gun metal flake on the water in the sunlight! Looked amazing! I too like loud colors! And if you're into all white, another member on here that lives near me in VA, B Dillon, has an all white G21...hope he doesn't mind me sharing his pic from Facebook...But I think it looks pretty great in all white too!

Don't mind at all Brian! All white looks great 90% of the time.. The other 10% is spent finding dirty places on a just cleaned boat! Love all these blue metal flake boats that have been posted... Actually I love all colors after having an all white boat!

I say loud colors and avoid white hull unless you're on a clear lake! Words from experience!
