    G23 covers

Im sure this has been talked about before i tried looking up the old ones but anybody know the difference in the carver covers and how do they hold up to trailering compared to the factory cover. My cover pretty much deteriorated within three years. The dealership quoted me 1600.00 for a new cover so i was looking at other options. Thanks.

I am pretty sure an Evolution cover would be cheaper and they are pretty awesome. If I went with an aftermarket, then that would be it.

My build sheet lists a cover as $1100 MSRP. Your dealer is taking you to the cleaners if it is just a factory cover all over again.

I've been asks Corey to make a G23 cover for 3 years.

None of the Nautique dealers near him would let him on their lot to make a fit.

He has a massive following with Malibu. I don't think any Nautique dealers know how good he is.

A buddy and I both got a Carver cover for our G23 back in 2012 when the G was first released. We went this route because they have an option that covers the swim platform which protects the back of the boat. The first cover they sent fit poorly. However, after talking to them, they actually had their pattern designer come to our docks to see the problems and take measurements. They then went back and made a new cover and sent them to us. We have been extremely happy ever since. Talk about customer service.

Neither of us trailer the boat but I don't think the cover we got is designed for trailering. It does come with tie downs but the factory cover is definitely better if you trailer for any distance.
