    Bimini top for SV211

    Hey all,

Looking to add a small top to my tower that's pretty low profile. I like the smaller tops that don't have all the tie down straps, etc. Possibly just a forward facing top that are similar to other boat makers.

    What's the best option?

    Thanks in advance!

my over the tower bimini from Towerbimini doesn't use any straps and covers the main area decently. Got it through the dealer when I bought the boat

towerbiminis is the way to go... the bimini also stores "resting" against the tower, so it is out of the way when it's folded up.

I like that, I have a carver Bimini on my '04 211, and it fits under the tower and under the tower speakers. Everybody ( including myself once in a while) end up with the cross bar across the eye brows. When you say it stores against the tower, is that also for travelling? Do you happen to have a picture of it in the stored position?

not the greatest pics, but hopefully you get the idea.

The back "hoop" that holds the bimini taught gets undone and then passed over the tower. I then just carefully "bunch" it up and put it in the storage bag/boot that holds all the material together. The front bow then rocks back and the bimini bow lines up perfectly with the front of the tower arch. There are two nylon straps with buckles that go around the bimini and the tower to hold the bimini against the tower.

I usually leave it like this going back and fourth to the river, we only get up to 55-60mph on that trip. If I was going on a major interstate I would probably pull it off but it would be more to keep the bugs and road grime from getting all over the sunbrella boot then anything else. It also helps hold it together in the garage and if i throw it in the back of the truck.

Great info, thanks for the pictures as well. I'll have to look in to this. I definitely like the over the tower style better than my under the tower Bimini.
