I could use some advise regarding summer protection, our G23 is too big to fit in our shop or garage. We typically take it out 5-7 days per week and would like to optimize protection of the boat and efficiency in cover installation and removal. Would the storage cover be too cumbersome to install and remove daily, alternatively would the cover seen in this post be adequate outdoor storage protection. Just looking for opinions.

On a side note, I have been lurking for the past few months and have been impressed by the amount of information available on this site. This has proven to be an impressive resource.

Outside of putting the boat in doors, a good storage cover is by far the best investment you can make for you boat. Our Double Up Storage Cover covers as much of the boat as we can. At first they do seem cumbersome, but they really are no more difficult than a ratchet cover.

One thing to look for in a good storage cover is that the fabricator is using PTFE thread so you are not having to have it re sewn a few years down the road.

Thanks Jeff, Got my quotes from them today. Thinking about using the one you got and using the panels during the off season while the boats on the lift.

Excellent! The only thing I wish mine had is cutouts for the cleats (and lift ring on the front, if necessary for you). You might want to ask them to include those on yours. Other than that, I love mine!
