Windshield Paint

I have a couple scuffs on my windshield where the mirror attaches and wanted to know if semi gloss or gloss black would be the best? Not sure if anyone has painted one.

I used this on a boat windshield and it looked good. Flat black I think but could be semi-gloss. It's designed to match OEM finish on automotive trim. I sold the boat soon afterwards so I can't vouch for the durability.
