Led cupholders and speaker lights

Man that looks great....only prob is that it would be illegal here in VA. Can't have blue on the tower. Years ago, Dealers around me actually weren't even supposed to offer Supra's factory Roswell speaker bar upgrade because it had blue LED's that shown down into the boat for interior lighting. At least that's what I was told.

Looks great!! Some of questions if you don't mind since this is on my project list.

Did you DIY? If so, where/what parts did you get and what did it involve?

If you didn't DIY do you know what the installer did? Is a 2013 prewired for these? My impression is 2014 was the first year LED cupholders were offered as an option so I have assumed there is no existing wiring in place to tie into.

How are the lights switched on/off? Are they separately switched or are they tied into other lights, for example the interior courtesy lights.

For sure,

-I did not do it myself. We had our Marine that we purchased the boat from install them. Marine Max Rogers. The 2013 is not pre wired for these lights so the labor was a bit costly. I know the lights are just single LED bulbs that they used. They drilled a small hole in the cup holder and placed it in the cupholder. The light really bounces and projects off of the chrome cup holder it is awesome.

-The lights are switched on and off by remote. We were given two remotes to turn them on and off and they are totally independent from the other lights. Obviously they run off the boats power but nothing interferes with the turning on or off of the lights. it is all run through a remote.

Bevostein - I will tell you I installed LED speakers on my boat last spring. The worst part of the project is just running the wires and figuring where you want to splice them into. I just spliced into the interior courtesy lights
