    OxDoc,

I am trying to keep my purchase under 100K. I mentally decided that after my last boat I am never spending over 100K again. So obviously a new is out of the question.

I hear you. Curious about your change from the x30 so soon. Anything you don't like?

Not really. In fact, it was a great boat. However, I am looking to get in something under 100K. I have been down the road of designing and buying an insanely priced boat and I'm kind of over that. I was shopping around and found that G21 and couldn't help myself. Nearly 40% off? Even if I don't like the boat it would be easy to flip in a year or two.

Can someone compare a 15 G21 with a 16 G23? Considering making a move on a nautique very soon (tomorrow? and have only surfed the G21. Is it $25k better on the surf side? The size isn't that big of a deal to me.

            I'm pretty sure a 2016 G23 is more than 25k more isn't it?

Also what do you mean "surf side"?

Just meant surfing 90% of the time. To be at $25k would probably be a used one next fall.

My buddy Eric (wayward) had a G21 last year and now a 16 G23. He says it is markedly better

The '16 will surf significantly better, and you'll have the ability to use Surf Select, which isn't available on the '15.

Over flow for the sac is out through the hull drain into the water, just as it would be for the stock tanks. I fill until I see water coming out the side of the boat.

Phil I know exactly where your coming from on that 100k issue! That crazy price point has kept me from upgrading from my 210 also. But I'm a lot further away from the $100k mark than u! I'm more of an $75k Max type of guy! Anyway in your case id for sure get out and ride both and do it on same day or really close and also with 5-6 people. I think u'll find that u just might want to keep that eye open for the 23. Just the little things on the 23 vs 21 win me over.

And I see no reason why u can't overflow the stock into bags. Will be slow but should be no issue.

Yessir. My 100k plus days are over. I have the opportunity to get insane loans as well. Just not worth it anymore

My current loan is 2.9% with an annual rebate based on credit union performance. This year we got 75% back. Its like free money.

                        I simply want something cheaper.

I found a couple g23s i like but nothing below 100k. If I get that I will pounce

Is the G21 still a possibility? Anything keeping you from pulling the trigger on it?

Yessir. Absolutely a possibility. If I can't find a 23 at the price I want then the G21 is likely

Look up here in Canada. Here's a 2014 with 107 hours with the 550 for $135,900 CDN ($96,500 in USD). I'm not sure how far south you are but when I shipped a boat from Southern California a few years back it cost just over $2K. Going from the US to Canada was easy and I don't imagine it would be that much more difficult going the other way. I just had to get the right paperwork, pay taxes and get the trailer inspected.

Here's a 2014 G21 that's a private sale for $120K CDN ($85K in USD). Also has the 550 and only 120 hours. The used market hasn't really adjusted to the exchange rate yet - I imagine it won't affect older boats but the new G23s are north of $200K here now.

If you're interested in the one at Wizard I can give you the name of one of the sales guys there that I dealt with and really trust (and I don't trust many salesmen. haha)
