Highly modified R/C G23 Super Air Nautique

While waiting for my new G21 to be built, I bought this little R/C boat that is somewhat close to the same paint scheme as the one I had on order. The speed and performance was completely underwhelming. So i stripped it down to the hull and built it with proper electronics and hardware. Even though the lake is frozen over, I was able to test it for a minute in a pool and it is an impressive little performer. Can't wait till spring to get both this and the real one in the water.

BTW, the real one is on its way here from the factory and should be delivered to the dealer Tuesday. I plan to see it this weekend.

That's awesome! I gotta get one and do the same! My boat doesn't get here till March though. But last year, my neighbor's son brought a green G23 to the lake with them. And while we were just chilling and floating in the water during the rough water hours, he was delivering us beers in the water with it! It was rather comical!
