RE: Nautique wake vs MC X2 wake

Are you talking about the New '06 X-2, the bat-boat one... Or are you talking about the X-2 from last year, which was the former X-Star whos hull has been around for years...

RE: Nautique wake vs MC X2 wake

Oh, all I can say then is that I met someone who to him thought it was worth upgrading from the '05 X2 to the '06 X2, that must say some good things about it...

there currently is not much info online about the wake on the new X-2. A lot of the crew over at WW has been waiting for sometime to see photos of the wake with some real weight in the boat. Your best bet will be to demo and ride behind both.
Ummm, I\'ll take the REAL 210 please. Thanks.

            Here's the skinny...

The 2006 210 wake is not much different than all the others... It's very steep when weighted properly to toss you up in the air.

The 2006 220 wake is a larger more rampy wake. It still has a steep lip, just not as steep as the 210.

The 2006 X-2 can probably be described as close to the 2006 220, but with a little less steepnes to the wake.

The 2006 X-Star creates a very big wake, but with very little steepness.

If you were buying a boat just for the wake, I have listed the boats in order of steepest wake to least. Depending on what you like in a wake you should choose accordingly.

And where does the X1 come in that list? Between the 220 and the X2?

Check these pictures out. They are from a guy on the End Of Rope Gang site that has a new X2. Showes some pic's of the wake.

from what I've heard and read the X-1 wake is still the best of all of the X series boats. Pretty funny that their least expensive wake boat is their best.
Ummm, I\'ll take the REAL 210 please. Thanks.

Fat Boy...is that weighted? Looks pretty nice actually, rampy. The real test is how firm. My good pal has a new x2 coming home this weekend and I can't wait to ride behind it. It's really roomy inside with tons of storage. It's a nice boat, but people are paying a premium due to what I think is a self imposed shortage and combine that with a new, highly hyped model.
