    Ronix Wake Surf Shaper $600

I saw this at the boat show yesterday and thought it looked pretty interesting, especially for boats that did not come with a surf system. $600 sounds like a deal assuming it works. Has anybody tried one?

There are some threads on wakeworld for a much cheaper version of the same thing... When I'm on a PC I'll send some links. I bought the stuff to make my own this spring.

Here's the original install that started it all (well, it's the earliest version I've seen). Seems total cost is about $50 to make. It's probably where Ronix got the idea. However, the Ronix product does seem very nice, especially with the added shims and the fact it is guaranteed to float. Either version though, you have to put velcro on the side of your boat.

I'll second that. Would love to see some install and wake pictures.

Thinking of buying one for the old 230... Nss is not possible, so this would be a cheap solution.
Would love to see a video from the 210.
