I though they stole some interior ideas from the G series e.g. reversable seat.

Ah, a "no carpet" Malibu, thats nice and the carpet on the 22VLX was one reason i have now a G21. I'm not sure if i like that bigger every year for surfwakes, its a matter of time and we will get more limitations on the lakes.

I agree...if you really want bigger surf wakes than what's out now...go to the beach! Or to Kelly Slaters Surf lake. We don't need bigger for surfing on the lakes. I mean really, what all can possibly be done while surfing that can't already be done on what's out now! If you really wanna get radical on some waves, go chase Mavericks!

I agree, I have lived on two lakes. One where know one surfed and one where everyone surfs. The one where no one surfs you could go skiing or wake boarding at anytime. The one I am on now, everone surfs, you could not ski onboard at all unless you go out early morning. Now the surfers are starting to go out early to avoid the waves. It is just a matter of time before they make more restrictions. If you don't own a surf boat you can't even go enjoy watersports. Maybe they make a time frame where surfing is allowed and not outside that time frame. If our surfing makes it so others can't enjoys the lake for other sports then it will eventually become a proplem

Malibu sells more boats than any wakeboat manufacturer and this boat simply draws attention to the brand. They will not sell many M235s but they already knew that. Give it a year or two and we'll see if the QA/QC is improved as stated. I've been to the factory twice and they are cranking out as many boats as they possible can then they let the dealers make the proper fixes.
The G has more storage, long term history of QA/QC, no hassle warranty program, and NSS is fully adjustable. SurfGate is on or off and I prefer to make adjustments when I surf.
Most boat owners buy with their eyes and that is why Malibu has done so well. Nautique owners look beyond the beauty......essentially having other requirements beyond looking nice. JMO
