Now that we are into 2016, what does everyone recommend for underwater LED's? I had Shadowcaster SCM 10's in the past and the quality is excellent, they were super bright and were still working fine after 4 years and two different boats (I had them mounted on a custom tube underneath the platform) when I sold my last boat. The only thing is they are $600 a pop... What is similar for less $$? LED's in other areas have come down in price, have U/W LED's done the same?

Check out Lumitec Seablaze X - $293 on Amazon. Both white and blue lights in same unit. Can go all blue, all white, half and half or strobing between the two. 4000 lumens on all white. I think its a good bang for the buck

Check out Lifeform 9s. They have periodic sales in the $300 range.
They aren't the absolute brightest... But last time I ran the numbers... They were the best value in $/lumen.
American made, great folks to work with.
Also...not sure what boat you have but adding them aftermarket is easier... The boats are pre-wired with the power wires and you can enable the underwater light option on your Link panel over the phone if you can get your dealer to walk you through it with the security code.2019 G23 450

I'm looking at some for my 230 as well. Keeping an eye on this post!
FYI, on mine its the blue/green and black wires that are wire-tied up.
nyryan2001- would a dealer give me the code to get in to turn them on? Closest one to me is 3 hours away and would be a real pain to drive 6 hours round trip for 30 seconds work!"I'm on a boat........"

Two considerations with dual color lights, one that specifically the seablaze X
1) you may find that a dual color light has one half of the LEDs are one color and the other half the 2nd color. So if its a 6 LED light assembly, you only get 3 of each color. SO they may be half as bright as a single color with all 6, or however many, being the one color
2) the seablaze x fading is controlled within each light. This means they will not be sync'd and not turning together. This maybe weird for some if you are running 2 or more.
