G21 Where to start with ballast and surf settings?

I am coming from a 220 SANTE that had 2 large fat sacs. We used to fill the rear factory ballast 100 percent full and the belly 50 percent full. I thought the wake was perfect.

I'd like to start surfing with the G21 with the most forward thrust possible. I'll adjust it from there. So how should I set up the ballast and the Surf System? I do not want to use any addition ballast. I bought this so I dont have that headache anymore and I want the wake to be the same on both sides.

Stock settings will create a shorter, steep wake with a good amount of push. You could keep center ballast between 0-50% for even more push.
I prefer full stock ballast, 11.1mph, and NCRS at 3. In my opinion it's a good combination of length and height without losing much push.

Someone mentioned on here for G21...full belly, full rears......NSS 0...NCRS 3........ If you want STEEP SHORT wake with push....like wakerider107 said above... If you want a LONGER wave...run half ballast in each of the back tanks with full belly. I also run 11.1 to 11. 8 mph.

I have never ridden a G, I have a 2014 230. The hulls a a bit different, and the newer G's (2016), have taken on the rear stepped hull similar to the 230, but there are still a lot of differences, and I'm not smart enough to understand that geometry.

That being said, I have heard a general similarity to how I setup my boat, and how G boats get setup (I really should just surf a G this summer), but G's generally want half to 3/4 belly ballast, and a slight lean to the surf side.

My 230 is similar, but I don't drain the belly, I add more weight to the rear, so my simplification of this, add more weight to the stern, the bow robs push, but weight is weight, so fill the belly and compensate at the stern.

I'm a goofy rider, so too much stern to bow weight, with a stepped hull, creates some weird double lip, when we hit that threshold, we start leaning the boat to the surf side, usually people weight, it's easy with 5-6 people. The non-star(board) side doesn't seem to create the double lip as often. I find increasing speed on my 230 a better way to increase push rather than sheer weight, obviously it is a balance, I couldn't do 20 mph and find a lot of push, and I couldn't do 10 mph and have more push than 10.7.

Most skim surfers find my wake to steep and want to ride NSS 0-2, I don't skim surf often, I prefer NSS 3-5, my wedge is always up as it sinks the *** end deeper into the water.

Testing a 2014 G21 in a few weeks so I want to make sure that I know the best set up for surfing. Sounds like two choices?

          1) Steep shorter wave - full belly, full rears......NSS 0...NCRS 3
          2) Longer wave - full belly, 50% rears... NSS ? NCRS?

          TIA
