Just wondering if anybody who has taken delivery of their new '16 G boats would like to share any pics of their boat and how they did the registration numbers?! Trying to decide on what to order when my boat comes in and where to place them. Thinking about going with http://shop.domednumbers.com/ as they already have selected fonts for each make and can get the colors to match fairly closely. My boat will be mostly Masters Blue with a gunmetal flake front stripe so I thought of doing their domed letters with a Masters Blue outline and Gunmetal Flake center so that they wouldn't stand out too much...but also afraid that might look tacky. Any thoughts or pics of current setups welcome (anything '13-'16 is good)!

Or I may just do something more simple and go Plain Black. They have a "Black Chrome Illusion Frost" that will kind of match the black chrome "Super Air Nautique" and accents on my boat. Or do it all in Masters Blue. Only thing I'm worried about the domed lettering, is that they wont sit flush as well as flat vinyl decals if there is any type of curve to the surface.Last edited by Beg4wake; 03-03-2016, 04:01 PM.

Better check what your state wants, here is Illinois. Get it too close to the background and you'll give the DNR a reason to pull you over The number shall be in block characters not less than 3 inches in height, and of a
color which shall contrast with the background and so maintained as to be clearly
visible and legible; i.e. dark numbers on a light background,or light numbers on a dark background

When it warms up I'm peeling off the previous owners vinyl and putting on Domednumbers in chrome illusion frost. Mine will go over black and I would have liked to use the black illusion frost, but not enough contrast. My last boat was charcoal metallic and I used black with a smoked chrome outline. I've never had any issues with the domed numbers adhering and have stayed away from using accent colors.

The domed numbers font matches the Super Air Nautique font almost perfectly. I did two color job for mine. I'll try and find some pics. Take a look at their phone cases just to get an idea. They basically have all the fonts and badging down. Buddy got the " chromax"and they matched his chrome SA words on his G21 perfectly. I am real happy.
They look fantastic and I get lot of questions on where I got them. As mentioned, just be careful of the colors. You need something to contrast or you may get dinged.

Yeah they all do look good. I believe you guys answered my reservations about the domed looking good and adhering well....I guess I better wait till the boat comes in so I can step back and take a look to see what I think will look good against the gun metal flake.
