Cover for Towing.

When I got my 00 Pro Air Last year I picked up a closeout cover from Nautique Parts that has done fairly well this year but, it's absolutely not designed for towing. And, the tower leg fitment isn't great. My boat is generally on the trailer out of the water so access to put the cover on isn't a problem. I don't care to cover my tower either since I don't have anything but racks on it.

Basically I'd like something that keeps water out well when it's randomly out of the barn at our in-town house and I can tow with it on.... The last few times I've towed the boat to town to work on something during the week I've managed to end up in a rain storm which has left me putting my cover in on at the house in a downpour. With an already filthy and soaking wet interior.

Find a good canvas shop in your area, have a cover made out of sunbrella. I have had a few boats I have done this way, and had snaps attached to the bottom of the rub rail. My canvas guy puts plenty of extra thick reinforcing at the points of contact, and also puts vent, supports in. I have towed fairly regularly - but not across country with them and they work well. I spent about $600, but I don't ever have to worry about a cover after that.... I am sure there are other cheaper options that work well, just giving you my .02

I need to use your Canvas guy! I got quoted 1500 for a custom Sunbrella cover. Ended up buying one online from www.boatcoversdirect.com for like 750.00

Well, you can call - they might have a pattern for your boat... It's A&D Canvas here in Orlando, 407-895-8748.... I think his prices may have gone up a little bit, but hopefully not too much... Quality work for sure. Ask for Chuck - the owner..

Check out cover sports on this site, really good investment for me. Also, sewlong a site sponser looks to have the same style of cover. The cinch cover has no tie downs and no straps to the trailer. Takes me about 3 minutes to cover the boat and travels very well!!

Coversports is #1 in my book! It will take awhile to have it made and they aren't the best at answering phone calls, but the cover speaks for itself. I've towed with it several times without any issues and it sheds water great. Take only a few minutes to install after the first initial installation getting everything placed right. This is on an 03 SANTE.
