switched from star graphic to G-Prism graphic on my G23

so I ordered the G-Prism graphic for my G and after looking thru lots of pictures I noticed that the SAN G23 letters are further forward on the normal star graphic then on the G-Prism graphic. I knew I had a decision to make:
1. have the installer cut out around the SAN G23 and place the graphic to line up properly with the windshield
2. have the installer remove the SAN G23 and reinstall in proper cut portion on the graphic after the graphic is installed
3. have the installer line up the graphic with current location of the SAN G23

so after having the dealer tape up the graphic on the 3rd option I reluctantly decided to have them do that. I didnt like how it doesnt account for the lines in the graphic to line up with the windshield (which is awesome looking). But I did like how both colors of the gelcoat showed thru the graphic giving it a bit of a different look.

now after everything done Im trying to decide if I should remove the thick black stripe on the front to "bring things back a bit" or just leave as is? I know 99.9999% of the world never see the difference and only diehard Nauti fans/owners may even notice so Im basically asking for your opinion on the ones that know the difference and what they see.

I was actually going to comment before I finished reading that I would def get rid of the black line, and maybe even possible a bit more, maybe closer to the star in the graphic

I personally would have went with option 2...or no graphic at all would be a clean choice!

With a black hull and black bimini... I think you need some black on there. My 2¢

yeah thats the other part, do i just put my numbers in front of the reg sticker or do I cut out the graphic above the rub rail and slap the numbers there?

Looks good as is. Don't over think. Wait to see it on the water.

I like it. Leave it as is IMO. Really like how both colors transtition through the graphic. I actually think it's perfect as is.

Without removing the "Super Air Nautique" first you can't get the graphic aligned correctly. When correctly installed the two white stripes behind the black stripe align with the windshield posts. I would not worry about it. Only G23 owners with the prism graphic will notice the difference.

thanks for the responses, Im starting to like it more and more as I see it everyday as my desktop background. yes I would prefer it to all (SAN G23 and Graphic) lined up properly but the 2 color look is unique so that definilty helps close the gap..
