Just curious to know if anyone has tried or have seen a 210 with one of these being used http://www.ronixwake.com/products/ei...e-surf-shaper/. The reason is my 210 does not have the option to add the NSS due to the Linc system that it has. There is also the Wake-Shaper seen here http://wake-shaper.com any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nautique has gotten much "looser" on NSS kits since all the aftermarket options. I just ordered one and took delivery for my 08. no problem whatsoever. Originally their were pretty strict from what I could find, but I know of at least 3 guys who have recently been able to order kist through their dealer I believe retail is 2700, but you may be able to negotiate a little. You will just need to buy the Lenco LED switch and their control module.

Thank you Swatguy, I will see what I can do with the dealer and call Nautique directly as well. Do you have any pics of your retrofit NSS to your boat? If so could you send them to scott@insydeout.ca cause I know already my dealer here will not agree when I tell them others have done it. Also did they just add a toggle switch or what did they do instead of installing the LINC 2.0 Thank youLast edited by Scott_Mead; 03-14-2016, 10:28 PM.

I should have an answer with 100 percent certainty by end of next week as I will be tackling the install. At first glance and preliminary measurements I have 1/4 inch of clearance.

Still easy enough to make the holes without it

When I installed the NSS on my 236/230, I had to move the platform mounts up on the transom, probably 1.5 - 2 inches. Moving the mounts, plus moving the platform back on the brackets, to obtain clearance from the transom, probably took more time than installing the NSS. One BIG issue I ran into was making sure all 3 brackets were perfectly parallel. If not, the platform will not slide into them. I already had everything dis-assembled when I started scratching my head on how to make sure they were parallel, so I just had to be very careful. If I had it to do again, before I started anything else, I would take the platform off of the brackets, put the brackets back into the transom mounts, and screw a 2x4 or something where the platform should be, attaching all 3 of the brackets together. This would basically make a jig for you to hold up to the transom and mark all of the mounting holes for the transom mounts.
Good luck with y'alls installs!

I ordered my kit for the 09 210 I used to have from our site sponsor NautiqueParts.com and even got the 10% discount code using PND. If you need the Drilling template for the kit message me. This was years ago so I’m not sure parts are still availableLast edited by ScooterMcgavin; 08-26-2023, 09:36 AM.2009 Super Air Nautique 210 TE
