Moomba just dropped the new Helix. 20ft w/ 102 inch beam, 4000lb dry weight and the gunwale height rivaling a G , loaded up at a 60k MSRP????

To quote someone more famous than I . " Daum Son!"

    Just what the industry needed

I'd take a Moomba over an Axis anyday. Factory tour at Supra/Moomba is top notch.

I've always been a Supra Fan! I recently just sold my Kevlar Hull Supra Marauder to buy my new 2007 SANTE. Lucky for me I still have another Supra! That Moomba looks amazing. I'd like to see them come out with it in 22-24 length!

Yeah. That 20ft length is going to be a turn off for a lot of people. Need one in the 22-23 ft range. I'm sure the performance will be pretty good though. Rick Tinker is a top notch guy.

Maybe the Craz and the Mojo will get the same deep freeboard that this Helix has in the future. Prob be a few years considering they just came out with those models so the molds are still fairly new. I look for Moomba to sell quite a few of these Helixes and then decide to change the entire line to a deeper boat.

I'm not a big fan of the appearance of the Helix, but I think the Moomba Craz is a great looking boat. 22ft with 400hp standard and a starting price of $59K! Wow! Obviously it has shortcomings compared to Nautique with that low price. I don't know anything about Moombas and have never even been in one, but the Craz sure looks good to me.

My first boat that I had,was a new moombA outback v, I think you get really good value with the moomba line, but the way they handled my warranty issues where night and day compared to nautique. I found that I like the fit and finish of the moomba. I know that I had gel coat cracks on both hulls. The first one went back and was given a new hull so I was without a boat until July, the next hull had cracks again, but I didn't want to miss half of the season so I just had to deal with it. If my warrenties were handle in more timely manner then I would have bought another, right now I will stick with nautique.
