    Team Edition SAN

Hi everyone, still kinda new here. I was searching for some threads about the difference between a 2006 SAN 210 Limited and a 2006 SANTE.

What is added to the SANTE that makes it different from the other.

Looking at both boats and the SANTE is about 4K more.

    Chuck,

Page 46 of this brochure should detail what you need to know. It lists the 210 standard, 210 limited, and 210 team edition and the options for each.

You my friend, nailed it!! I don't think the extra 4K is worth it. It has about 65 more hours, but is 2 years newer. Same condition, so I may go with the limited.

It's all about how the boats are equipped. There are a lot of base model boats out there that greatly surpass the factory equipment in aftermarket accessories because boat guys by nature are usually customizers that want things done their way. Look for things that are important to what you want to do with the boat and enjoy the hunt.

Well right off the bat, if the limited and the Team edition have only the standard options here will be the differences.

            Dual batteries with switch
            Perfect Pass
            Bow Speakers
Clarian Stereo package with digital remote
Flight Control Tower with flight clips
Ballast Tanks - Total of 3

These items are what the Team Edition (from factor) will come with standard over the Limited. This isn't saying the Limited doesn't have added options from the factory or even from the aftermarket world.

I think Tmosely1 hit the nail on the head. Its mostly about what the options are that they have and what you want. As well as the condition of the boats themselves. I know a lot of owners out there that will try and sell a Team Edition for a lot more than you can find a limited with the same options. Just because it says team.

I hear ya, and that's what I'm dealing with right now. He wants another 4K because it's a "Team Edition" boat.

You said it was 2 years newer also? So is the comparison a 2004 SAN limited vs a 2006 SANTE? Because a 2006 has some changes/improvements from an 04. There is definitely $4k difference between those 2 boats.

I agree with beach... Things to consider if it is an 06. They changed the gateway box in 06. 04 gateways are still not easily found if one goes bad nor does faria fix or sell them. Also 06 was the first year for reversible ballast pumps, new lighter more efficient vdrive. New tower design also.

Yeah, it's an 04 Limited VS. 06 SANTE.

Are we sure Faria won't fix them. I know they don't stock them but from what I've been told and through previous experiences with gauges they will make one to order. Expensive, indeed. However when its what you need, its what you need.

I know on my '99 Supra Launch, the gauges went bad and Faria made a new set for me. They even told me they could build a new "gateway" for them as well if needed.

I personally called them about a year ago and was told they no longer repair gateway boxes. However they do still repair the gauges, i didn't ask them if they could make a new gateway because it ended up being fine. I would think someone would be able to come up with a fix for them.
