Hmmm my 2013 never has swiveled though not much reason to since it would hit the side console anyway. I wonder if its bound up somewhere.....oh well I'm almost in my 2016 anyway.

I hope Nautique has put this on their "this is not up to our standards" list for a redesign. An item that is used every time you are in the boat, in a boat of this level, should function much better. Mine swivels (yes 2013 Gs had swivels seats) but it will randomly slide back and forth due to the poor mechanism for holding the pin in the pre-drilled holes and the there is a ton of play in the slides.

What's funny is...in the pic above the text tells you to "Push down" to rotate the seat but the picture shows to "Pull up" on the lever....LOL. I can't remember now if it is up or down...but I do remember having to wiggle my G21 to rotate.

The swivel lever on my '16 kept falling off (it's pull up by the way). Dang tiny screw kept backing out, it was when the screw fell through the hole into the bellows that I decided it was time to take action. Lock tight was the remedy.
You had to get a running start to get the seat to move forwards or backwards, so I spent a fair amount of time cleaning and lubing the tracks. Slides purdy good now, rarely use the swivel because of the ability to sit sideways in the seat by design.
If there is a lever your seat probably swivels, it's either not actuating to release or it's frozen up with time and the elements.

Scooter G "You had to get a running start to get the seat to move forwards or backwards, so I spent a fair amount of time cleaning and lubing the tracks. Slides purdy good now". Did this do the trick? Since I have had my G23 2017, I have never been able to adjust the seat forward and backwards even with force?Last edited by GMLIII; 01-05-2024, 02:19 PM.

Sub under the seat, that was some creative use of space JDC02SANTE, and there is plenty of space, I know because I've been elbowed in from the side chasing said screw.
GMLIII, your seat not moving at all? I think you're gonna need a bigger hammer, lol. I would hose everything down with WD-40, acts like a cleaner, and see if you can get those tracks freed up. Make sure the lever is disengaging the catch. Cover everything as if you were painting and be liberal - you are going to make a mess. After you get it moving come back in with some silicone spray lube (tends not to catch dirt build up like grease). Mine was super gummed up from the factory grease, and is night and day different now on the smooth slide.
