2014 San 210 with pcm 343 impeller pieces

Nobody yell. I did a search and saw some good info. Impeller shredded last year. Literally no nubs/splines whatever U call them left. Engine got hot over heat beeping came on. Probably got 200*. I killed it and trailered too dealer. They did a quick impeller change, said they didn't see any pieces, ran fine the rest of season. This years tuneup changed impeller again just in case. It was fine. But, for some reason it's driving me nuts those pieces are floating around. Going to another shop tmrw. Goin got pull thermostat and look around for pieces to give me a little sanity back. Anyone with my motor wit similar issue. Mostly where did pieces end up? I did run fine for season, temp fluctuated a tiny bit where before this it didn't move from 162. I did notice al little more exhaust but could have been morning air or ballast leaning the boat . The more I think the more it worries me. Any help greatly appreciated. A little pissed dealer didn't spend more time looking or let me know this could be a ongoing problem or future problem,I know there are othe threads just though maybe a few could chime in with some quick tips before I drop it off. Is it possible it all passed thru? Thank you!

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. I checked all locations (thermostat and oil cooler are the most likely) and nothing showed up. I've had no running issues since with my GT40.

Same thing happened to me two years ago. I found only smaller pieces in the thermostat housing bypass openings. The residual pieces in all likelihood went out the exhaust. You can also have them backflush the transmission cooler and look for pieces to come out of it.

Yes it is however not all the water in the system exits in one loop cycle. It may take several cycles for it to exit therefore it is possible that pieces will be in the cooler. Not likely but possible.
